Ensuring Basic Child Rights

DAM is a strong advocate of “Child Rights”. It has its own fully-functional Child Protection Policy and Code of Conduct in service for all its projects & programmes. AMCC is envisioned to fortify the child-right pillars of UNCRC- right to survival, the right to protection, the right to development and the right to participation as well as human rights of the most vulnerable & disadvantaged children. Ensuring basic child rights through the programmatic components is the main objective of the institution.

Hence the full-time counsellors need to approach children with much sensibility and recreationally to ensure their recovery. If any child is found to be in discomfort, the care giver will give more time and efforts to that child to overcome the situation. Special counselling arrangements are made all the way from the enrolment of a child up until they get reintegrated into the society. I other words, counselling is on of the key programmatic component to keep the whole environment of the Children City joyful and harmonious.
