Celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr

This year the holy Eid was celebrated by the Muslim across the country on 26th June 2017. Children of AMCC also celebrated the day with due religious fervor. Wearing new paijama, panjabi , shoes  and toopi children went to Eidgah for Eid prayer. Being back from Eidgah kids had several favorite sweet dishes locally called shemai a traditional sweet dish prepared on Eid day in the Muslim families.  Children had a very exciting Eid Day with lots of funs and amusement.  Special, rich and delicious foods were cooked on the occasion of Eid Day and served for lunch and dinner. Children spent the whole day playing games, moving around, singing songs and eating good quality foods. Eid day has usually been a special and particular day to the children.

Circumcision of 40 children

 

This year from 27 May until 17 June altogether 40 children of different ages were circumcised at Panchagarh Sadar Hospital.  Social Welfare Department, Sadar Hospital and related government offices extended required supports to make it happen. Without any health problem circumcision of 40 children were completed in order and safely. 

Ahsania Mission Premier League

APL was held from 4-6 April 2017.  Total 8 teams were formed with children`s  home district orientation. The teams were Rajshahi, Rangpur, Chittagon, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Barisal and Khulna. Teams kept in two groups A and B. Center Manager Masudul Islam formally opened the tournament and hope to see an exciting league which will be enjoyed by all children either participating or non-participant of the tournament. After 1st round of the league 4 teams were qualified for the semi-final. The final match was held after Eid ul Fitre to make sure that all children take part in the excitement as well as amusement of the final match. In the final Dhaka beat Mymensingh by 6 wickets.   

DAM President Visited AMCC

DAM President Kazi Rafiqul Alam visited AMCC on 19th March 2017. He was accompanied by a group of DAM Executive Committee members. They were Prof. Golam Rahman,   Kazi Shariful Alam, Treasurer (AUST), Mohammad Lakiatullah and   Joint Secretary Khalilur Rahman.  The visitors were highly impressed to see the overall management, services and noticeable changes in children in all respects.  The visitors overwhelmingly termed Ahsania Mission Children City as the Eighth Wonder of the world.

Exposure Visit 2017

Day out is always exciting to the children and moment of amusement and fun. This year on 17th March 2017 children have been to Tentulia, Panchagarh on exposure visit. 220 children, teachers, staff and guests in 4 large buses aboard and left children city campus around 8.30 for designated location of Dakbanglo Tentulia. The buses pulled up at Dakbanglo – a nice place of natural and sub-urban beauty. Children spotted a place there to settle down with full team including mats, carpets, food and other items.  Kids played, danced, sang freely of their own all the day.  Special diet was prepared and served for lunch.  This year exceptional thing was stand-alone management by a group of designated children who handled everything  from start to end.  Children`s enjoyment was increased in many folds finding   KNH country coordinator Maruf Momtaj Rumi amid them all the day.  M. Jahangir Hossain (PM) and Md. Masudul Islam, center manager including other senior staffs also attended the party.  In the 2nd half followed by lunch a cultural program and lucky coupon draw was held and prizes were distributed into the winners.  With huge enthusiasm and funs children left Tentulia for AMCC at 4.00 pm by buses.   

Student Council Election 2017

Student Council Election was held on 16th March 2017. The council is elected for every two years with direct votes of the children.  In the election 17 candidates submitted their nomination papers and contended for 7 positions.  The elected students  were Biplob Babu, Sagar Chandra Roy, Arafat Hossain Naim, Mohammad Rasul Mia, Md. Sohan Chowdhury, Md. Sagar Hossain and Imon Mia of class III.  The election was held in festive mood and huge excitement.
